For the second time, a Qur'an was flushed down the toilet at a NYC university. It makes me wonder what those high-prestige Eastern schools are actually teaching their students.
On the other side of the world, ten US troops were killed today in Iraq. Was it Islamo-fascism, or was it defense.
In 1096 Pope Urban II called on Christians to form an army and reclaim the Holy Land from the infidels. They did just that in the First Crusade. Eyewitness reports state that after the Christian army had occupied Jerusalem the blood was up to the knees. And the holy warriors turned Masjid Al Aqsa into a stable.
In the Third Crusade, Salahuddin Ayyubi retook control of Jerusalem. And I think some Christians never forgave him for that.
In the days after 9/11, G. W. referred to a Crusade. And that's what it has become. A strugle for Jerusalem. A struggle for dominance.
Fortunately, calmer heads on both sides of the divide--Christians and Muslims--continue to call for peace. Those are the voices which must prevail.

Jeruslam will not see peace until the return of Issa bin Maryama,(PBUH) and the world will not see peace until that day. Of course that is what I have been told by the Hadith I read.
It must be true, because all my life and through out the history, Jeruslam was at some kind of war, or dispute.
The return of the Christ they say, is after we see the false Christ, or Masaih, Dijal. When the Digal or the anti christ turned the world upside down, he stops at the Masjid al Aqsa, where Issa has just entered, he knocks the door, and Issa (PBUH) opens the door, when the false Christ sees him, he runs and Issa chases him, there will be a war between good and evil, and when the False Masaih dies, the world became peaceful. the earth gives fruits as big as a boulder, children will play with snakes in peace, lions and zebra's leave together at peace.
they say that false Christ is alive on earth somewhere right now, and he has many fellowers who are waiting for his return.
I think we, as humans, should get used to this hate and craziness until that time comes.
every darkness there is a light that follows, turn off you TV and do not listen to their hyped up false vioces. they speard hate and fear, the only way to win is to ignore them.
